Dewan Undangan Negeri
The 13 State Assemblies of Malaysia
Alongside the federal Parliament, each of Malaysia’s thirteen states elects its own Dewan Undangan Negeri. Between them they hold 600 state constituencies, each returning one ADUN. State assemblies legislate on matters reserved to the states — land, local government, and Islamic law among them — and whichever party or coalition commands a majority forms the state government under a Menteri Besar or Chief Minister. The three Federal Territories have no assembly of their own. Choose a state below, or from the map, to browse its seats.
