Mohamad Alamin

Mohamad bin Alamin is a Malaysian politician and lawyer. He was born in Kg. Kelatuan, Batu Enam Kimanis, Papar, Sabah, with Kadazandusun and Brunei Malay heritage. He currently serves as the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs in the Unity Government administration since December 2022 and as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Kimanis since January 2020. Previously, he served as the Deputy Minister of Education II from September 2021 to November 2022 and as Chairman of the Intellectual Property Corporation of Malaysia (MyIPO) from May 2020 to March 2022. He is a member of the United Malays National Organisation (UMNO), having held positions such as Youth Chief and Vice Leader of UMNO Kimanis.
