Ramli bin Mohd Nor
Ramli bin Mohd Nor is a Malaysian politician and former senior police officer. He has served as the Deputy Speaker of the Dewan Rakyat I since December 2022, the Member of Parliament (MP) for Cameron Highlands since January 2019, and the Non-Executive Chairman of Amanah Raya Berhad (ARB) since May 2020. A member of the United Malays National Organisation (UMNO), a component party of the Barisan Nasional (BN) coalition, he previously contested as a direct member of BN. He holds the distinction of being the first member of the Orang Asli community to be elected to the Dewan Rakyat and appointed a Deputy Speaker. Prior to his political career, he served for 34 years in the Royal Malaysia Police, retiring in 2018 with the rank of Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP).
