Syahredzan bin Johan

Syahredzan bin Johan is a Malaysian politician and lawyer. He has served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Bangi since November 2022. He is a member of the Democratic Action Party (DAP) and has also served as the National Vice Chairman of DAP since March 2025 and the State Political Education Director of DAP of Selangor since November 2024. He is the son of Tan Sri Johan Jaaffar, former chairman of Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka. Syahredzan graduated with a LL.B. degree from Cardiff University in 2005 and was admitted as an advocate and solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in October 2007. He began his political career in 2018 as political secretary to Lim Kit Siang.
