Mohd Puad Zarkashi is a Malaysian politician who has served as Speaker of the Johor State Legislative Assembly since 2022, previously as Deputy Minister of Education (2009–2013), Member of Parliament for Batu Pahat (2008–2013), Senator (2004–2007), and Director-General of the Special Affairs Department (2015–2018). He is a member of UMNO and holds a PhD from the University of Hull.
