Adam Adli bin Abd Halim

Adam Adli bin Abd Halim is a Malaysian politician and former student activist. He studied at Sultan Idris Education University, where he was suspended in 2013 for allegedly tarnishing the university's name through activism. In May 2013, he was arrested and charged under the Sedition Act for statements made at a forum; he was acquitted in February 2018. Adam Adli officially joined the People's Justice Party (PKR) on September 16, 2021. He was elected Youth Chief of PKR for the 2022-2026 term in July 2022 and also became the Deputy Youth Chief of the Pakatan Harapan (PH) coalition in the same month. In November 2022, he was elected as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Hang Tuah Jaya. Since December 2022, he has served as the Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports in the Unity Government under Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim. He was a recipient of the 17th Yang di-Pertuan Agong Installation Medal in 2024.
