Ahmad Tarmizi bin Sulaiman
Ahmad Tarmizi bin Sulaiman is a Malaysian politician who has served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Sik since May 2018. He is a member of the Malaysian Islamic Party (PAS), which is a component party of the Perikatan Nasional (PN) coalition, and was previously part of the Gagasan Sejahtera (GS) and Pakatan Rakyat (PR) coalitions. Prior to his parliamentary career, he served as the Deputy President of the Malaysian Consultative Council of Islamic Organisation (MAPIM). He made his electoral debut in the 2013 Kedah state election, contesting the Jeneri state seat under the Pakatan Rakyat coalition, but was unsuccessful. In the 2018 general election, he was nominated by Gagasan Sejahtera to contest the Sik federal seat, which he won. He successfully defended his seat in the 2022 general election under the Perikatan Nasional coalition, securing his second term as MP for Sik.
