Hannah Yeoh Tseow Suan

Hannah Yeoh Tseow Suan is a Malaysian politician and lawyer. She currently serves as the Minister of Youth and Sports in the Unity Government since December 2022 and has been the Member of Parliament for Segambut since May 2018. Previously, she was the Deputy Minister of Women, Family and Community Development from July 2018 to February 2020. She also served as the 10th Speaker of the Selangor State Legislative Assembly from June 2013 to April 2018 and Member of the Selangor State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Subang Jaya from March 2008 to May 2018. A member of the Democratic Action Party (DAP) since late 2006, she holds the position of Deputy Secretary-General of DAP since March 2025, and previously served as Assistant National Publicity Secretary from March 2022 to March 2025. Born in Subang Jaya on 9 January 1979, she studied at SK Sri Subang Jaya, SRK SS19, and SMK Subang Utama before obtaining her law degree from the University of Tasmania in 2001. She was admitted to the Malaysian Bar in January 2003 and subsequently to the Supreme Court of Tasmania. She worked as a lawyer in Petaling Jaya for three years before transitioning to event management. Inspired by Edward Ling and Tony Pua, she became a full-time politician before the 2008 general election. As Minister of Youth and Sports, she introduced the 'Road to Gold' (RTG) programme. She is married to Ramachandran Muniandy and has two daughters, Shay Adora Ram and Kayleigh Imani Ram.
