Mohd Syahir bin Che Sulaiman
Mohd Syahir bin Che Sulaiman is a Malaysian politician and economic analyst born on 30 March 1983. He currently serves as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Bachok since November 2022, representing the Malaysian Islamic Party (PAS), a component of the Perikatan Nasional (PN) coalition. Beyond his parliamentary role, he also holds significant positions within PAS, including Political Secretary to the President, Deputy Chairman of the International Committee, and Assistant Secretary-General. Prior to his political career, Mohd Syahir had a distinguished professional career, including roles at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), Shell Malaysia Exploration & Production (SMEP), and various senior executive and strategic planning positions at Sime Darby. He holds a Bachelor of Economics from IIUM and a Master's degree in Development Studies from the University of Malaya.
