Wilfred Madius Tangau
Wilfred Madius Tangau was born on 13 March 1958 in Kampung Lokos, Kiulu, Tuaran, Sabah. He is a Malaysian politician who has served as the Member of Parliament for Tuaran since May 2013 and previously from November 1999 to March 2008. He is currently the Honorary President of the United Progressive Kinabalu Organisation (UPKO). His past government roles include Deputy Chief Minister and State Minister of Trade and Industry of Sabah (2018-2020), and Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation (2015-2018). He also served as the President of UPKO from March 2014 to January 2023. He received his education at SRK Lokos, SMK Kiulu, SMK Ranau, Setapak High School, Sekolah Menengah Sains Selangor, and is an alumnus of Universiti Putra Malaysia.
