Mohd Shahar bin Abdullah is a Malaysian politician who has served as Deputy Minister of Economy since December 2025 and as Member of Parliament for Paya Besar since May 2018. He previously held deputy ministerial roles in finance under the Barisan Nasional and Perikatan Nasional administrations and is a member of UMNO.
