David Nga Kor Ming

David Nga Kor Ming is a Malaysian politician and lawyer. He has served as the Minister of Housing and Local Government since December 2022. Previously, he was Deputy Speaker of the Dewan Rakyat and a member of the Perak State Executive Council. He has been a Member of Parliament for Teluk Intan since May 2018, and previously for Taiping. He also served multiple terms as a Perak State Legislative Assembly member for Pantai Remis, Kepayang, and Aulong. A member of the Democratic Action Party (DAP), he holds significant party positions including National Deputy Chairman, 3rd Parliamentary Leader, and Perak State Chairman. He holds a Bachelor of Laws from Universiti Malaya and worked as a lawyer. Born in Kota Bharu, Kelantan, he is a Methodist, married, and has three children. He was recognized as one of Ten Outstanding Young Malaysians in 2007.
